Different

When I started designing this blanket I didn’t have a clear idea of what I was going to do. This design simply unfolded as I worked.

Christmas Medallions Pattern

I love Christmas trees, Christmas lights and Christmas ornaments more than any other part of any other holiday.

My ornament collection keeps growing! I am so excited to add these sweet crocheted medallions to my Christmas ball and vintage snowflake granny.

Elegant in spirit, these pretty little medallions look wonderful on my tree and also on spare winter branch.

Pretty ornaments made with your own two hands seem to me to embody the very spirit of Christmas!

It will only take 10 minutes of your day. What do you say?

1st Round: start with a magic ring and work (1dc, ch1) 12 times inside the ring; (12dc and ch1-spaces)

2nd Round:  in every ch1-space work dc3tog [Yarn over, insert hook in same stitch, yarn over and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 3 times, ch3,  fasten off (12 dc3tog and 12 ch3-spaces)

3rd Round (new color): in every ch3-space work 4dc, fasten off (48dc)

I made a hook by crocheting 12 chains.

Chevron blanket / part II

Zig-zags of dark and light grey together with the white run through this classic ripple afghan. It is  going to look stylish in modern home. I crocheted it with 3mm hook and used 700gr of cotton yarn. Measures 80x120cm.

I loved crocheting this pattern, it’s relatively simple, rhythmic and soothing. The written pattern is available HERE and for the graphic pattern see the photo bellow.

Snowflake granny pattern

Snowflake granny is perfect holiday projects. Crochet yourself a garland to string over the mantle; embellish your holiday gifts with a snowflake granny; use it as Christmas tree ornaments; really, there are so many uses! Did I mention that only take about 20 minutes to make one?
